Farm Strong

First off, I hope you appreciated the title of this post (if you didn't then you should stop reading this and go watch Modern Family instead).

I love fall. It's one of my favorite times of the year. Everything drastically changes in such a short amount of time. The leaves, the temperature, our wardrobes... all at once it begins to feel like the Holidays. One of our fall traditions is to go pick pumpkins from a local farm. So that's exactly what we did this weekend.

It was a day filled with caramel apples, hot coffee, corn you can eat, and corn you can get lost in. It would be easy grab pumpkins at the grocery store, but it's just not the same. Especially when a place like Kruger's Farm is just a few miles outside the city. Plus, there's that certain sense of accomplishment you get when you pluck the perfect pumpkin out of the dirt and cut it free from the vine... or maybe that's just me.

What's your favorite fall tradition?

Nathan

  2. Oh, lovely photos! It looks like the perfect fall day. I went pumpkin and apple picking last week, and I think my favorite tradition is baking apple pie afterwards :)
