an outing

Over the weekend, we took a day trip out to wine country with Becka's sister and her husband. Just a 45 minute drive from Portland and suddenly you're on vacation. If you ever visit the Pacific Northwest I highly suggest the journey.

The first winery we visited was Sokol Blosser. The main tasting room was a stunning building designed by Allied Works Architecture. Even if you're not so interested in wine, it's definitely worth a stroll around the property. We ventured from there to Stoller Family Estate for a second tasting. Overall, it was a day full of good wine and good company.  Here are some images we captured along the way.

  1. My husband and I aren't wine drinkers, but we would definitely venture out for the architecture. I love all the angles and use of wood! Happy Monday!!

  8. That architecture of the Sokol Blosser winery is amazing!! I love taking a day trip out to wine country. Have never been to Oregon, but used to go out to the Yarra Valley all the time when I lived in Australia. Felt like a mini vacation!
