Ever since we booked our plane tickets to Hawaii I can't seem to get the thought of salty water off my mind. What are you looking forward to this summer?

  2. Oh, salty water, warm sand and sun sound like heaven to me. I'm very much looking forward to a couple of those types of getaways this summer. And I might just purchase those shoes to come along with me!

  5. Hawaii sounds wonderful right about now! We have our anniversary coming up soon so we plan to go to Chicago and hopefully the beach later in the summer. Really love the cobalt blue - the perfect summer colour!

  8. We will definitely say Aloha to your home state for you :-)

Our trip is booked for the Big Island, but we have a two more months to wait in anticipation! We went to Kauai for our honeymoon and are so excited to explore a new piece of Hawaii.

Have you explored the Big Island? Do you have any recommendations for us?

  11. My best friend lives in Hilo! I bet you guys will be on Kona side, though yeah? It is more of the tourist-y side :) Kona is about a 3 hour drive from there, but is just beautiful, especially if you guys will be going towards Volcano National Park to see the sleeping Kilaue'a crater, which I recommend! You guys will have so much fun!
